Formal deformations, dg Lie algebras and cohomology Part II of II

Abstract: In the first part of the talk we will present a formal Lie theory that is a correspondence between dg Lie algebras on one side, and functors on artinian rings with values in (infinity) groupoids on the other side. Such functors describe formal deformations and the respective dg Lie algebras should be thought of as algebras of “derived infinitesimal symmetries”.

Examples will be provided in the second part of the talk.
