Kay Werndli

Kay Werndli studied mathematics at the University of Basel and partially at the ETH Zurich with a focus on algebraic geometry and homological algebra. For his graduate work, he moved to the EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), where, after a research stay at the KTH Stockholm, he received his PhD under the supervision of Jérôme Scherer and Kathryn Hess in 2016. Shortly after, he started his first postdoctoral position at the University of Utrecht, where he is part of Ieke Moerdijk’s group.
