Intercity Geometry Seminar — Resolution of Singularities

This seminar will aim to study a new proof of Hironaka’s Theorem on Resolution of Singularities by Abramovich–Temkin–Włodarczyk [ATW] and McQuillan [McQ]. By replacing blowups by stacky weighted blowups the authors manage to produce a canonical resolution (choice free).
