Geometry and Quantum Theory (GQT)

Peter Hochs

After studying mathematics at Utrecht University, Peter Hochs started his PhD in 2003 at the University Amsterdam, and finished at the Radboud University in 2007. He then left mathematics, to work at TNO and Shell. He returned in 2012, to an Alexander von Humboldt postdoc in Hanover, and a Marie Curie postdoc at the University of Adelaide and the Radboud University. After some years as a lecturer in Adelaide, he moved to the Radboud University in 2020.
Peter’s research interests lie in various areas related to index theory: differential geometry, Lie theory and noncommutative geometry. He is particularly interested in the relations between these areas.
